Community Lunch & Newcomers Get Together

Everyone is welcome to attend the Community Lunch which will commence after the 11am service. Let’s take the opportunity to fellowship with one another over a meal of Nasi Lemak, Fried Bee Hoon/Kway Teow, Braised Pork Rice, Wan Ton Mee, Roast Chicken Rice. Remember to walk across the room and befriend people who may not be familiar. The lunch will be complimentary for our newcomers.


Screening of the movie ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’ on 25 Aug 2019
There will be a screening of John Bunyan’s Pilgrim Progress in Room 201 at 1.30 pm. This is a Christian classic and will be suitable for children age 8 upwards.


Cancer Support Ministry Talk

Topic: From Fear to Faith                                    Speaker: Dr Choo Bok Ai

Dr Choo is a Senior Radiation Oncologist in private practice with 16 years of experience. He was awarded the Singapore Patient Advocate Award in 2016 and received the highest accolade in the Healthcare Humanity Award in 2018. In this talk, he will be speaking about spiritual care, emotion management, overcoming fear as well as deepening in faith while journeying through cancer.

Session 2: The Claims of Jesus – true or false?
Session 3: The Teaching of Jesus – relic or relevant?
Session 4: Jesus Christ – dead or alive?
Session 5: Faith – fact or feeling?

This is an exploratory class for seekers who are keen to know more about Christianity. Each session begins with a simple dinner and a short presentation which examines a certain aspect of the Christian faith. This is followed by a time of discussion where everyone can ask questions in a safe environment. This class will be facilitated by Rev Lee Kien Seng. Reading The Bible

Dates: 21 Sep – 12 Oct (Sat)             Time: 10am to 12pm             Venue: Room 201

In these 4 sessions, you will learn how to apply basic reading skills to the Bible and be motivated to read the Bible for yourself. You will learn how to apply a Bible passage to your life and you will understand how the message of the Bible hangs together and centres on Jesus. The course will be facilitated by Rev Lee Kien Seng. Community Blood Donation Drive

Date: 21 Sep (Sat)
Time: 9am – 3pm
Venue: Rainbow Centre, 501 Margaret Drive           

The objective of this drive is to foster greater community spirit amongst residents,  organisations and churches that are based in Dawson/Queenstown, as well as to come together to do good. Rainbow Centre was chosen as a neutral venue so that pre-believers will not feel intimidated or out of place. For more information, kindly refer to the notice board. 


Mission Trip to Huay Kang, Chiang Rai

The year end mission trip to our missionary Pannee’s hometown will be from 27 Nov (Wed) to 3 Dec (Tue). This year, we are going to the Secondary School to teach them conversational English and this will be a new area of ministry. We welcome you to come on board to reach out to the people in Thailand. Training will be provided. Please contact Ps Kien Seng if you need more information.
