Resumption of 11.00 AM Sunday Service from 11 April

We have resumed our 11.00 AM Sunday Service. It is held in S2 and limited to 100 congregants (Zone 4 & 5). You are still required to make reservations through our church website if you wish to attend it. Do take note that we will now only make available the coming Sunday’s services for reservation on Monday.


ACM Proxy Form

We thank God that last Sunday, we had the opportunity to address the questions raised by communicant members on the ACM materials. 

TODAY, all communicant members will receive the link to the Proxy Form via email where you can start to cast your votes. For those who have earlier received a hard copy of the ACM materials, you should also receive a hard copy of the Proxy Form early this week.

The window period for you to submit the proxy form is 2-9 May (TODAY to next Sunday). Do submit it as soon as possible rather than wait till the end of the window period.

Church Prayer Meeting (Via Zoom)

On 5 May (Wed), we will be having Church Prayer Meeting via Zoom, at 7.45 pm. God Almighty delights in hearing our prayers. Prayer meeting is a good platform to commune with God. Let us join this meeting to encourage each other, and to intercede before God’s throne of grace and glory. The devotion is: “David’s Prayers 4”, based on Psalm 15. We will be having Break-out Rooms to pray in small groups. Those who would like to join the Zoom meeting, please register with Pr. George via email.


Learning how to Read & Interpret The Bible (via Zoom)

Dates: 6, 20, 27 May, 3 Jun (Thu)                      Time: 8pm to 9.30pm                       

In these 4 sessions, you will learn how to apply basic reading & interpreting skills to the Bible and be motivated to read the Bible for yourself. You will learn how to apply a Bible passage to your life and you will understand how the message of the Bible hangs together and centres on Jesus. The course will be facilitated by Rev Lee Kien Seng. Prayer Retreat

Topic: Praying in the Spirit

The Prayer Retreat is held annually except last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s retreat is conducted by Rev Gerald Tan from Trinity Christian Centre. He will teach us how we can engage the Spirit of God in our prayers from Zechariah 4:1-7, Galatians 5:16-26 and Romans 8:1-17 (see the e-Flyers for details). A Basic Christianity (ABC) Class Leaders Training (via Zoom)

Date: 20 May (Thu)                                                 Time: 7.45pm to 9.30pm

The ABC Leaders training is for those keen to lead an ABC class. This one-session training will equip you to teach the basics of the Christian faith. Pr George will be conducting the training and those who are keen may register directly with him.


Primary 1 Phase 2B Priority Registration Exercise

Information on the Phase 2B priority enrolment scheme for those who want to be admitted to Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School or Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary School in January 2022 is included in a separate document below. Please refer to the details on the eligibility criteria and the probability of success for this exercise. All relevant forms can be obtained from Alvin Yip at <alvinyip@trueway.org.sg>. The closing date of application to both schools is 28 May (Fri). Please email Alvin the completed forms by 14 May (Fri) and arrange with him how to deliver hard copies as required by MOE.

140th Anniversary Prayer Meeting

The Presbyterian Church in Singapore will be celebrating her 140th Anniversary this year, on 11 July 2021. There are various events leading up to the event, one of which is the 140th Anniversary Prayer Meetings. The Prayer Meetings will start from Easter Sunday until Synod Sunday in July, altogether a total of 14 weeks, symbolising 140 years. At each prayer meeting, 3 churches will be invited to introduce their histories, ministries and prayer requests for the attendees to pray.

Location: Online via Zoom and YouTube Live on <Synod Office’s YouTube channel

Except for the 1st Wednesday of each month when we have our own church prayer meeting, we do encourage you to attend the Synod’s prayer meeting to pray for our 37 Presbyterian churches.

  – Indicate whether it is ‘tithe’ or ‘offering’ in the narrative field “Enter UEN / Bill Reference No.”

2) Internet Transfer to DBS 1629002650. Kindly indicate your name and purpose (tithes offerings) while making the transfer.

3) Write a cheque payable to “TWPC – English Congregation”. Kindly indicate your name, contact number and purpose (tithes/offerings) behind the cheque. Mail the cheque to 156B Stirling Road Singapore 148947.
