YAM Spiritual Retreat 2022

Location: Trinity Theological College
Calling all True Way young adults (19-30 yo)! YAM will be having our very first spiritual retreat! This will be led by Rev Dr Jimmy Tan, our Presbyterian lecturer in Trinity Theological College. Do come together as a community to learn about the role of spiritual exercises and put them into practice.

Gospel Sunday on 29 May
We are having the first Gospel Sunday on 29 May. Our guest preacher is Mr. Lim Chien Chong. He joined Singapore Youth for Christ (SYFC) full-time in 1998 after a six-year teaching career in a local junior college. In 2005, he became SYFC’s National Director. Since Jan 2021, he has handed over his leadership responsibilities and taken on the new role as the Teaching & Resource Director. He is a deacon in Grace Bible Presbyterian Church and currently serves in the pulpit, Bible class and children ministry. He also preaches, trains, and teaches in different churches and youth groups in Singapore. He has been married for 20 years and has two teenage boys. He will preach on 1 Corinthians 15:20-28 with this title: “When Death gives way to Life“. Do invite your family members and friends to attend either the Onsite Service at 8.30am/11am or the Online Service at 8.30am/11am. Intercessions during Gospel Sunday (via Zoom)
On 29 May, Gospel Sunday, there will be a group of intercessors interceding while the service is in progress. Those who would like to join the Time of Intercession via Zoom at either 8.30am or 11.00am service slot, please register with Ps George via email.
Gospel Sunday Operation Andrew
Please email Ps George the people whom you would like to invite for the Gospel Sunday on 29 May by putting down your name, the onsite service which you are attending, the names of the people whom you are inviting and how they are related to you.
Resource Library is now open from 10am to 1pm. For the month of May/June 2022 we have selected Read With Me Book Sets for Children and School Holiday Reading available for loan. Come check out also the Titles on Being Men and Women after God’s Heart. We look forward to see you at the Library, level 2.
Group-Based A Basic Christianity (ABC) Class Part 1 (via Zoom)
Dates: 2 Jun, 9 Jun, 16 Jun, 23 Jun, 30 Jun (Every Thursday)
Time: 8 pm to 9 pm
We have conducted many Group-Based ABC classes in the past. The participants have found them helpful for their spiritual growth. You are urged to attend such a class even if you have been a Christian for some time. The class is conducted by Mr. Koh Ee Wee. He provides a very good foundation to grow in your Christian faith. The 5 sessions which cover the first 5 assurances of the Christian faith will be taught over Zoom. To find out about the class or register, please text him directly at 9619 9320.

There are 3 ways to give our tithes and offerings:
1) PayNow – Launch your mobile banking app
– Scan the QR code using the app or key in UEN: T12SS0173B
– Indicate whether it is ‘tithe’ or ‘offering’ in the narrative field “Enter UEN / Bill Reference No.”
2) Internet Transfer to DBS 1629002650. Kindly indicate your name and purpose ‘tithe’ or ‘offering’ while making the transfer.
3) Write a cheque payable to “TWPC – English Congregation”. Kindly indicate your name, contact number and purpose ‘tithe’ or ‘offering’ behind the cheque. Mail the cheque to 156B Stirling Road Singapore 148947.
